ROMI ES-40B-2 MANUAL LATHE

The ROMI ES-40B-2 is a robust conventional engine lathe engineered for versatile machining applications including tooling, production, and maintenance work. This machine features a maximum swing of 32.28 inches over the bed and 25.20 inches over the cross slide, accommodating workpieces up to approximately 815mm in diameter. The spindle bore measures 2.56 inches with an ASA L1 nose configuration. With a distance between centers of 78.74 inches, this lathe provides substantial capacity for longer workpiece machining. Powered by a 15 HP asynchronous AC motor with electromagnetic safety brake, the ES-40B-2 delivers excellent torque and power characteristics suitable for demanding applications. The machine operates at a maximum spindle speed of 1,180 RPM, with a speed range extending down to 16 RPM, providing flexibility across various machining operations.
