SKODA HCW 2 HORIZONTAL BORING MILL

The SKODA HCW 2 is a robust Horizontal Boring Mill controlled by a CNC system. It features a powerful main drive motor with an output of 100 kW (134.1 HP) and a maximum spindle speed of 2,500 RPM, with a common operating speed listed at 2,000 RPM. The spindle diameter is 200 mm (7.89 inches), utilizing an ISO 60 clamping taper. This machine is designed for heavy-duty applications, evident by its large table size of 3,000 x 2,500 mm (approximately 157 x 157 inches) capable of supporting a maximum table load of 40,000 Kg. Its substantial travels include 10,500 mm on the X-axis (column travel), 4,000 mm on the Y-axis (headstock travel), and a combined ram plus spindle out-travel (Z + W-axes) of 2,500 mm.
