SMTCL CA6250A MANUAL LATHE

The SMTCL CA6250A is a heavy-duty manual lathe designed for precise machining of medium-sized workpieces. It features a maximum swing diameter of 19.69 inches (500 mm) over the bed and 11.81 inches (300 mm) over the cross slide, enabling versatile turning of cylindrical, conical, and flat surfaces. The lathe is powered by a robust 10.06 HP (7.5 kW) motor, delivering spindle speeds up to 1,600 RPM across 24 adjustable steps, allowing for efficient processing of both ferrous and non-ferrous materials. The spindle bore diameter is 52 mm, facilitating the machining of thicker bar stock. The machine bed is constructed from high-strength cast iron, ensuring rigidity and stability to maintain high precision with dimensional accuracy typically up to IT7. Its design incorporates a gap bed, which allows for the machining of large-diameter components by removing a section of the bed beneath the spindle. The lathe supports a wide range of threading options, including metric, inch, modular, and diameter pitch threads, and can perform additional operations such as drilling, reaming, and oil groove cutting. The cross slide travel is 320 mm, and the top slide travel is 140 mm, providing flexibility in tool positioning.
