The SMTCL CA6266C manual lathe is a heavy-duty machine designed for precision turning operations with a maximum swing of approximately 26 inches (660mm) and a spindle bore measuring 4.72 inches (105mm), allowing for machining of larger diameter workpieces. It is powered by a 10 HP (7.5 kW) motor delivering robust torque and operates at spindle speeds ranging from 14 to 1,250 RPM with multiple speed steps, providing versatility across various machining applications. The lathe features a 25.98-inch swing over bed and 15.75 inches swing over the cross slide, supported by a 400mm-wide cast iron bed constructed with hardened and ground guideways coated with Turcite-B to ensure high rigidity, precision, and wear resistance.
