The TAKISAWA TMM-250M3 is a high-precision horizontal machining center equipped with a main spindle capable of turning diameters up to 13.77" (350 mm) and lengths up to 51.18" (1300 mm), featuring a 10" chuck and a maximum swing of 30.7". The main spindle supports bar diameters up to 3" and operates at speeds up to 4,000 RPM with 29.5 HP power. The machine features a sub spindle with a maximum turning diameter of 9.44", running at 4,000 RPM with 24.8 HP. It has a twin-spindle configuration, allowing simultaneous machining with two cutting tools to improve productivity. The upper automatic tool changer (ATC) holds up to 30 tools for turning and rotary functions, with rotary tool power of 14.75 HP and speed up to 8,000 RPM. The lower turret accommodates an additional 15 turning and 15 rotary tools, with 7.5 HP rotary tool power and 4,000 RPM speed. The TMM-250M3 offers comprehensive multi-axis machining capabilities with 9 axes of control, including standard secondary mill/drill functions onboard that support on-center, off-center, and axis interpolation with C and Y axes. Axis travels include 22.05" on X, 5.12" on Y, and 49.61" on Z, all capable of maximum feed and rapid traverse rates of 394 inches per minute.
