The TORGIM T450 manual lathe is a robust, precision-engineered machine designed for heavy-duty turning applications. With a swing of 37.01 inches (940 mm) over the bed and a center height of 450 mm, it offers ample capacity for large workpieces. The distance between centers is 236.22 inches (6,000 mm), enabling the machining of long components with high accuracy. The spindle bore measures 6.30 inches (160 mm), allowing for the passage of large-diameter bars or shafts. Powered by a 20.11 HP (15 kW) motor, the lathe delivers strong cutting performance suitable for both soft and hard materials, including forged pieces. The spindle speed ranges up to 1,000 RPM, providing flexibility for various machining operations and materials. The headstock is constructed from special Meehanite cast iron, ensuring rigidity and vibration-free operation, while all gears are made of hardened and ground Cr.Ni.Mo steel, mounted on high-precision ball bearings for smooth and reliable transmission.
