The TOSHIBA TSS 30/55 is a heavy-duty vertical boring mill engineered for large-scale precision turning operations. This machine features a substantial 118-inch table diameter and can accommodate a maximum swing of 216.5 inches, or 157 inches for center turning. Vertical capacity is robust, offering a maximum height under the rail of 109.6 inches and a height under the tool of 102.4 inches. The 85 HP (63 KW) main motor drives the table across 16 speeds ranging from 1.25 to 80 RPM.
