The TRENS SN 71C/3000 is a robust universal centre lathe designed for piece and small-lot production, capable of machining larger workpieces with high stability and precision. It features a swing of 710 mm (27.95 inches) over the bed and 420 mm (16.54 inches) over the cross slide, with a bed gap of 300 mm and a center height of 355 mm. The distance between centers can extend up to 3000 mm (118.11 inches), accommodating long workpieces. The lathe is powered by a 7.5 kW (approximately 10 HP) main motor, delivering stable torque for heavy-duty turning, with spindle speeds ranging from 10 to 1000 RPM. Its spindle bore diameter is 73.5 mm (2.89 inches), suitable for large bar work, and includes a spindle nose conforming to ISO 702-III (B8) standards for compatibility with various chucks and accessories. The machine supports a wide range of feeds and threads with 38 traverse feed settings and 29 metric thread options spanning 0.5 to 40 mm pitches.
