The TRU-TURN CKD Manual Lathe is a heavy-duty precision machine designed for large-scale turning operations, featuring a swing over bed of 64.56 inches and a substantial distance between centers of 236.22 inches. It offers a swing over the cross slide of 49.21 inches and a guideway width of 43.3 inches, supporting a robust weight capacity of 20 tons. The lathe’s spindle, powered by a 49 HP motor, operates across four speed ranges from 3.15 to 315 RPM and includes a 5.11-inch diameter bore to accommodate large workpieces. The 55.11-inch 4-jaw chuck secures components during machining. The tailstock has a diameter of 11.02 inches with an 11.81-inch travel and a 1:7 taper bore, enabling precise center support. Control is managed via a Fanuc Oi TF5 CNC system for enhanced automation and operational accuracy. Tooling versatility is provided by a 4-position tool post and a roller-type steady rest adjustable for diameters from 120 to 480 mm, ensuring stable support for longer workpieces.
