The VICTOR S26100S is a precision heavy-duty manual lathe engineered for high-volume production of large components. Featuring a substantial 26-inch swing over bed with 100 inches between centers, this machine accommodates extended workpieces while maintaining exceptional rigidity. The large 4-1/8-inch spindle bore with D1-11 spindle nose enables mounting of diverse tooling and workholding devices. Powered by a robust 15 HP main motor, the lathe delivers consistent performance across its 12-step spindle speed range of 15 to 1,200 RPM, with optimized speeds for various turning operations. The 18.1-inch swing over cross slide provides additional clearance for complex geometries and interrupted cuts. Construction quality is paramount, featuring hardened and precision-ground chromium molybdenum steel gears in the headstock combined with hardened and ground bed ways and Meehanite casting for superior accuracy and durability. The carriage incorporates a mechanical overload device with Turcite B-coated slideways between the saddle and bed, while the induction-hardened cross slide (HRC 52°) ensures precision ground performance.
