Technical Description

The Vigor (Ge Fong) GNP-1712-D is a CNC Swiss-type automatic lathe with an opposed gang-type tool post for high-speed tool selection and rigid, high-precision machining. Maximum processing diameter is 17 mm (0.67 in.), with a maximum headstock stroke of 120 mm (4.72 in.). The main spindle runs 200-8,000 rpm on a 1.1/3.7 kW motor, with 15-degree (24-position) main spindle indexing. The sub-spindle covers 200-4,000 rpm on a 0.55/1.1 kW motor, matching the 17 mm maximum chucking diameter with 113 mm of back-axis stroke. A separate cross spindle runs 200-4,000 rpm (stepless) on a 0.4 kW motor for cross-working operations. The GNP-1712-D is a compact, small-diameter Swiss lathe aimed at high-volume precision turning of small bar-fed parts.
