The WEILER Commodor 230 AC is a robust manual engine lathe designed for precision turning operations in demanding industrial environments. Featuring a swing over bed of 18.7 inches (475 mm) and a distance between centers of 39.4 inches (1000 mm), this lathe accommodates large workpieces with ease. The center height is 230 mm, resulting in a maximum workpiece diameter of 475 mm over the bed and 10.6 inches (270 mm) over the cross slide, allowing flexibility for various turning tasks. The lathe is powered by a 14.8 HP (11 kW) main drive motor, delivering ample torque for efficient machining of both soft and hard materials. The spindle speed ranges up to 2,000 RPM, providing optimal cutting conditions for a wide range of applications, from heavy-duty roughing to fine finishing.
