The WEILER DA260 AC/2000 is a precision manual lathe designed for versatile turning and threading operations. This robust machine features a maximum swing diameter of 535mm (21.06 inches) over the bed and 345mm (13.58 inches) over the cross slide, accommodating workpieces up to 2000mm (78.74 inches) between centers. The spindle bore measures 71mm (2.80 inches), enabling efficient bar stock machining. Powered by a 7.5kW motor with variable speed control via frequency converter, the lathe delivers 2,500 RPM maximum spindle speed across 12 discrete speed settings ranging from 33-1,500 RPM. The machine supports a maximum workpiece weight of 200kg when mounted freely and up to 800kg between centers. Featuring a DIN 55027 Size 6 spindle nose and MK5 tailstock taper, the DA260 AC/2000 offers extensive threading capabilities from 0.5-28mm metric threads and 56 to 1-inch imperial threads.
