The WEILER DA260/1000 manual lathe is a robust and versatile conventional lathe designed for high-precision turning operations. With a swing over bed of 21.06 inches (535 mm) and a swing over cross slide of 13.58 inches (345 mm), it accommodates a wide range of workpiece sizes. The distance between centers is 39.37 inches (1,000 mm), making it suitable for medium to large workpieces. The lathe features a large spindle bore of 2.80 inches (71 mm), allowing for the passage of long bars or shafts, and a spindle diameter in the front bearing of 100 mm for enhanced rigidity and accuracy. The main drive delivers 10.06 HP (7.5 kW) and offers a speed range from 33 to 1,500 RPM, providing flexibility for various machining tasks. The machine is equipped with a DIN 55027/DIN ISO 702-3 size 6 spindle head, ensuring compatibility with standard tooling.
