The WEILER E90 Horizontal Machining Center is a robust, high-precision CNC lathe designed for heavy-duty turning applications with exceptional productivity and versatility. It features a single main spindle capable of handling a maximum turning diameter of 20.870" and a maximum turning length of 236.220", with a main spindle chuck diameter of 20.000" and a maximum swing of 35.430". The main spindle delivers up to 1,120 RPM and 60 HP, ensuring powerful performance for demanding machining tasks. The machine is equipped with a slide-type primary tool carrier, supporting up to 4 turning tools, with the ability to use one tool at a time for simultaneous cutting. It operates on a 2-axis configuration, with X-axis travel of 23.230" and Z-axis travel of 78.740" (extendable to 236.220" as an option). Both X and Z axes offer a maximum feed rate and rapid traverse of 197 ipm, enabling fast and accurate positioning. The Y-axis also provides a maximum feed rate and rapid traverse of 197 ipm, enhancing multi-directional machining capabilities.
