Technical Description

The 2007 YCM MV76A is a 3-axis vertical machining center manufactured by Yeong Chin Machinery Industries of Taiwan, positioned between the compact FV56A and the mid-size MV106A in the MV series lineup. The machine provides 30 x 20 x 22 inch X/Y/Z travels over a 36 x 22 inch working table with a 1,100 lb maximum table load, offering a capable mid-range work envelope for milling, drilling, boring, and tapping of steel, aluminum, cast iron, and non-ferrous materials. The 15 HP spindle operates at up to 8,000 RPM standard with a 10,000 RPM option, paired with a CAT-40 taper for compatibility with a wide range of standard tooling. A 30-station automatic tool changer enables complex multi-feature programs within a single setup. Rapid traverse rates of 1,181 IPM on X and Y axes ensure productive non-cutting motion between operations. The Fanuc MXP control provides rigid tapping, helical interpolation, DNC file transfer, and standard G-code and conversational programming modes. Cast iron Meehanite construction throughout the machine structure provides excellent vibration damping and long-term geometric accuracy retention. At 11,243 lbs machine weight, the MV76A offers solid structural mass relative to its travel class. The machine was well regarded in North American job shop and light production environments for its balance of work envelope, power, and Taiwanese build quality at a competitive price point.
