The 2020 FANUC Arc Mate 120ID is a six-axis articulated arc welding robot featuring a slim design optimized for operation in narrow jigs and confined spaces. This model is equipped with a high-rigidity drive train and a hollow wrist and arm with a 57 mm diameter for integrated cable management, reducing interference with peripheral equipment. It has a maximum payload capacity of 25 kg, a horizontal reach of 1831 mm, and a repeatability of ± 0.02 mm. The robot mass is 250 kg and it supports floor, inverted, or angle mounting configurations. Axis motion speeds are 210°/s for J1 and J2, 265°/s for J3, 420°/s for J4 and J5, and up to 720°/s for J6. The motion range for the axes is J1 ±340°, J2 ±260°, J3 ±458°, J4 ±400°, J5 ±360°, and J6 ±900°. The system is controlled by the FANUC R-30iB Plus controller and includes a color teach pendant. The unit features IP67 protection on the wrist axes to withstand dust and moisture in welding and cutting environments.
