The ACRA 1440GWI is a precision gap bed engine lathe designed for demanding manual turning applications. With a 14-inch swing over the bed and a 40-inch distance between centers, this lathe offers robust capacity for a wide range of workpieces. The gear-head spindle provides 12 selectable speeds ranging from 40 to 1,800 RPM, allowing for optimal cutting conditions across various materials and operations. The spindle features a 1-1/2-inch bore and a D1-4 nose, supporting versatile chucking options. Taper roller bearings ensure durability and accuracy under heavy loads.
