A+Technical Description
The Maxxturn 110 is a precision CNC turning center engineered for complex turned and milled components with significant milling requirements. This machine features a maximum turning diameter of 14.17 inches (approximately 360mm) with a swing capacity of 17.72 inches over the bed, accommodating workpieces up to 3500mm in length depending on the selected bed configuration. The spindle bore measures 110mm, facilitating efficient bar feeding and part ejection. Equipped with a 12+12 tool turret system, the machine delivers rapid positioning speeds of up to 30 m/min in the Z-axis and 24 m/min in the X-axis, minimizing cycle times during production. The main spindle operates at maximum speeds of 3500 rpm with a maximum drive power of 33kW, generating 800 Nm of torque, while the 12 driven tools rotate at up to 4000 rpm with 10kW power and 60 Nm torque capacity. For enhanced milling performance, an optional BMT water-cooled direct drive turret is available, offering 6000 rpm spindle speed with up to 62 Nm torque and 22kW power in S6-50% duty cycle. The machine incorporates an automatic tailstock with MK5 inner cone and 150mm quill travel, enabling stable part support and drilling operations. With overall dimensions of approximately 9500mm length by 2700mm width and weighing up to 25,000kg, the Maxxturn 110 provides inherent rigidity essential for precision machining while delivering economical production throughput for demanding precision applications across aerospace, automotive, and medical industries.
