2013 DOOSAN PUMA 700 CNC LATHES
Specifications & Market Value

Technical Description
The Doosan (now DN Solutions) PUMA 700 is a large, heavy-duty horizontal CNC turning center in the PUMA 600/700/800 family, built for big shafts, pipes and flanges in oil and gas, construction equipment, aerospace and shipbuilding work. It uses a box-guideway bed and a geared headstock that tops out at 1,500 rpm, with a 24-inch chuck as standard and a maximum turning diameter of 35.4 in (900 mm). Tooling is carried on a heavy-duty 12-station turret. The series is offered in several bed lengths (standard, L and XL, with XL reaching about 199 in of turning length) and in 2-axis, milling (M) and Y-axis versions, so floor space, weight and turning length depend on the exact variant. The first-generation machines use a 45 kW (60 hp) main motor with 6,605 Nm of torque and a 166.5 mm spindle through hole; the current PUMA 700 II generation uses a 55 kW (74 hp) motor with 8,076 Nm of torque and runs FANUC i Plus controls. All versions are single-spindle machines.
