GANESH GTW-26 MANUAL LATHE

The GANESH GTW-26 is a 26-inch heavy-duty engine lathe engineered for precision manual machining operations. This machine features a robust swing capacity of 26 inches over the bed with a maximum swing of 33.25 inches through the gap, enabling the processing of large workpieces. The lathe is powered by a 15-horsepower three-phase spindle motor delivering 12-speed geared head capability with spindle speeds ranging from 15 to 1,200 RPM, optimizing torque and surface finish across diverse cutting applications. The spindle bore measures 4.125 inches and utilizes a D1-11 Camlock spindle nose with an MT-8 Morse taper for versatile tooling compatibility. The carriage features 14.96 inches of cross-slide travel with 0.001-inch resolution on diameters, providing precise dimensional control. The lathe accommodates thread cutting across a comprehensive range including 2-112 TPI inch pitches, 0.2-14mm metric pitches, and 4-112 diametral pitches. Bed ways are hardened and ground with Turcite® coating for enhanced durability and accuracy.
