1998 HWACHEON HIECO21HS CNC LATHES
Specifications & Market Value

Technical Description
The Hwacheon Hi-ECO 21HS is a 2-axis horizontal CNC turning center from Hwacheon's Hi-ECO line of the late 1990s, built for chucking and bar work on small to medium parts. Maximum swing is 22.83 in, maximum turning diameter 11.02 in and maximum turning length 15.74 in. The X axis travels 6.61 in and the Z axis 17.32 in, and both axes have a rapid traverse rate of 1,181 ipm. The spindle has an A2-6 nose, a 2.4 in spindle bore and a 2 in maximum bar capacity, so the machine can run bar stock through the spindle with a bar feeder. Spindle speed ranges from 40 to 4,000 rpm, driven by a 15 hp continuous-rated AC spindle motor. Tooling is carried on a single 12-position turret. The tailstock has a 3.14 in diameter quill with 3.93 in of quill stroke and a Morse taper No. 4 center. The CNC control is the Fanuc Series 18-T. The machine has a single spindle with no sub-spindle.
