The J&M TL1600E is a heavy-duty manual lathe designed for demanding turning applications, offering robust construction and high precision. With a maximum swing over bed of 63 inches (1600 mm) and a swing over cross slide of 43.31 inches (1100 mm), this lathe accommodates large workpieces, supporting a maximum weight of up to 8 metric tons. The spindle features a bore diameter of 5.12 inches (130 mm) and a metric 140# taper, ensuring compatibility with a wide range of tooling and workholding accessories. Spindle speeds range from 3.15 to 315 rpm (forward) and 2.5 to 250 rpm (reverse), providing flexibility for various materials and machining requirements. The lathe supports 44 kinds of metric threads from 1 to 120 mm and 31 kinds of inch threads from 1/4 to 24 T.P.I., making it suitable for diverse threading operations.
