Technical Description
The Mazak INTEGREX 200-III ST is a multi-tasking turn-mill center from Mazak's third-generation INTEGREX line. The ST configuration combines a main turning spindle, an opposed second spindle for done-in-one machining of both part ends, and a B-axis milling head with automatic tool changer, so turning, milling, drilling and tapping are completed in one setup. Units built in the early 2000s were supplied with the MAZATROL FUSION 640MT Pro CNC, which supports both MAZATROL conversational programming and EIA/ISO G-code. Capacity covers a maximum machining diameter of 26 in and a maximum machining length of 40 in. The main spindle is rated 30 HP with a top speed of 5,000 rpm, and C-axis contouring on the spindles allows off-center milling and drilling of chucked or bar-fed parts. The milling head draws from a 40-tool magazine. Typical work includes complex shafts, flanges, valve bodies, hydraulic components and other prismatic-plus-turned parts in small and medium batches, where the second spindle transfers the part for back-working without operator intervention. The machine is commonly equipped with a bar feeder, parts catcher and chip conveyor for unattended production.
