Technical Description
The Mazak INTEGREX i-300 is a multi-tasking turning center that combines a turning spindle with a milling spindle on a B-axis head, so turning, milling, drilling and tapping can be done in one setup. This record covers the 1000U bed length (40 in class). The machine offers a maximum swing and maximum machining diameter of 25.9 in and a maximum machining length of 39.8 in, with bar work capacity to 3.15 in. The main spindle carries a 10 in chuck on an A2-8 nose, has a 3.58 in bore and turns to 4,000 rpm, driven by a 30 kW (40 hp) motor rated 22 kW (30 hp) continuous. The milling spindle runs to 12,000 rpm with a 22 kW (30 hp) motor and indexes through a B-axis range of -30 to 210 degrees. Axis travels are 24.21 in in X, 42.4 in in Z and 10.24 in in Y. The automatic tool changer holds 36 tools with HSK-A63 shanks as standard and CAPTO C6 or KM63 as options. A tailstock with an MT No. 5 center is standard on this single-spindle version. The floor space is 160.24 in by 110.24 in and the machine weighs 13,100 kg (28,881 lb). Control is the MAZATROL SmoothX.
