2010 MAZAK QTN350MY CNC LATHES
Specifications & Market Value

Technical Description
The Mazak Quick Turn Nexus 350MY (QTN350MY) is a large slant-bed CNC turning center with rotary milling tools and a Y-axis, from Yamazaki Mazak's Quick Turn Nexus series and its 350-II update. It is built for medium and large diameter shafts, flanges and bar work that need turning and milling in one setup. The single main spindle carries a 12 in chuck on a JIS A2-11 nose with a 4.41 in through-hole, runs from 35 to 3,300 rpm and is driven by an integral motor rated 40 hp (30 kW, 30-minute rating; 30 hp continuous). Maximum swing is 29.5 in and maximum machining diameter is 16.5 in. A 12-station drum turret with VDI tool holders accepts rotary tools in every position; the milling spindle is rated 10 hp and 4,000 rpm, with a 6,000 rpm option. The Y-axis provides 4 in of travel (plus or minus 2 in), and full C-axis contouring supports off-center milling, drilling and tapping. The machine was offered with several bed lengths, so maximum machining length depends on the version. The -II generation uses the Mazatrol Matrix Nexus CNC control with conversational and EIA/ISO programming, a built-in spindle motor and linear guides.
