2001 MAZAK SQT250MS CNC LATHES
Specifications & Market Value

Technical Description
The Mazak SQT-250MS is a CNC turning center from the Super Quick Turn series, built with a main spindle, a second spindle and a milling-capable turret. The M designates rotary tooling for milling and drilling, and the S designates the second spindle, which allows a part to be transferred and machined on its back side in the same cycle. The machine offers a swing over the bed of 20.67 in and a maximum turning diameter of 11.81 in. The main spindle has a 2.99 in bore and a maximum speed of 4,000 rpm. Tooling is held on a single 12-station turret in which every station can carry a driven tool. The main spindle has C-axis indexing for milling operations. Control on machines built from about 1999 to 2005 is the MAZATROL FUSION 640T, a conversational control that also accepts EIA/ISO programs, while earlier machines used the MAZATROL T-Plus. Machines on the used market are listed with bar feeders, parts catchers and chip conveyors. Listed machine weight is 5,350 kg (11,795 lb). A Y-axis version was sold as the SQT-250MSY.
