The MIYANO BND-51SY2 is a compact horizontal machining center designed for precision turning and milling operations on small to medium workpieces. It features a dual-spindle configuration with a primary main spindle capable of turning workpieces up to 2.000" in diameter and 6.500" in length, paired with a sub-spindle for secondary operations on components up to 1.650" diameter and 4.000" length. Both main spindles deliver 4,000 RPM at 20 HP, enabling consistent cutting performance across production runs. The sub-spindle operates at matching 4,000 RPM with 7.5 HP capacity. The machine incorporates a 12-position turret for turning tools and a 6-station rotary tool magazine with 1.5 HP auxiliary spindle for milling operations at 4,050 RPM, allowing simultaneous multi-axis machining. With five axes of control, the system provides 2.000" X-axis travel and 4.000" Z-axis travel with rapid traverse rates of 472 ipm across all linear axes, enabling efficient chip-to-chip cycle times. Bar capacity handling reaches 2.000" diameter maximum.
