2015 NAKAMURA WT150 CNC LATHES
Specifications & Market Value

Technical Description
The Nakamura-Tome WT-150II is a compact two-spindle, two-turret multitasking turning center for bar and chucked work, introduced in the US by Methods Machine Tools in 2011 as the successor to the original WT-150. Opposed left and right spindles each take a 6 in chuck with 51 mm (2 in) bar capacity, and a 65 mm bar option is offered on the left spindle. The left spindle runs to 5,000 rpm on a 15/11 kW (20.1/14.8 hp) motor and the right spindle to 5,000 rpm on an 11/7.5 kW motor; with the spindles synchronized, up to 26 kW is available for shaft work. Maximum turning diameter is 190 mm (7.48 in), maximum turning length is 515 mm (20.28 in), and the maximum distance between spindle noses is 800 mm. Upper and lower dodecagonal turrets each have 24 indexing positions with 12 driven-tool stations, for up to 48 tools, and driven tools run to 6,000 rpm on 5.5/3.7 kW motors. The upper turret carries a Y-axis with plus or minus 35 mm of stroke on Y-axis models. The machine uses a FANUC 31i-B control with a 19 in touch-screen operator panel. Floor space is 3,675 x 2,258 mm, height is 1,859 mm, and machine weight is 8,900 kg (19,621 lb).
