2019 ROMI GL170G CNC LATHES
Specifications & Market Value

Technical Description
The ROMI GL 170G is a compact CNC turning center built by Industrias Romi in Brazil for machining small parts from bar stock. It uses a gang-tool table instead of a turret: the tool plate is inclined at 60 degrees for easy operator access to the holders and free chip fall, with a 180 x 600 mm table carrying three T-slots, 20 x 20 mm external turning holders and 25 mm boring bar holders. The spindle has an ASA A2-5 nose, a 60 mm (2.36 in) bore, 51 mm (2 in) bar capacity and a 6 to 6,000 rpm speed range, driven by a 15 cv (11 kW) AC main motor rated for 15 minutes (S3). Spindle positioning is through a C axis with hydraulic brake. Maximum turning diameter is 170 mm (6.7 in), with 410 mm (16.1 in) admissible over the Z-axis guard. Cross travel (X) is 465 mm and longitudinal travel (Z) is 400 mm, on linear guides, with rapids of 36 m/min in X and 30 m/min in Z. Standard equipment includes the Fanuc 0i-TD CNC with a 10.4 in color LCD, Ethernet, full enclosure, centralized lubrication and a 220-liter coolant system. Options include hydraulic 165 or 175 mm chucks, collet chucks, bar feeders, a parts catcher and a bar puller. Floor space is 3.50 x 1.57 m and net weight is about 3,200 kg.
