Technical Description

The SUMMIT HBM110-30T Horizontal Boring Mill is a robust machine with a 4.3-inch spindle size and a 20 HP main motor (30 min rating). It features a table size of 31.5″ x 59″, supporting a maximum workpiece weight of 4,400 lbs. The machine provides extensive travel capabilities: X-Horizontal Travel of Table is 118.0 inches, Y-Vertical Travel of Head is 55.0 inches, and Cross travel of table (X axis) is 70″, with Saddle travel (W axis) at 47″. Control is managed via CNC/PLC with state-of-the-art electrics (220/440/3/60) and three/four axis electronic DRO incorporated into a pendant display. It offers 4 axes of movement and rapid traverse up to 113 IPM in the X, Y, and W axes.
