The 2016 Yaskawa Motoman MH50-II is a fast, flexible, articulated 6-axis industrial robot designed for high-performance applications including material handling, coating, 3D laser vision inspection, precision fluid dispensing, machine tending, and press tending. Built with an articulated structure intended for floor mounting, the robot features a maximum payload capacity of 50 kg, a reach of 2,061 mm, a repeatability of 0.07 mm, and a total mass of 550 kg. Its long-reach design minimizes the need for external tracking and allows placement close to workpieces, significantly reducing overall floor space requirements. The robot operates with maximum motion speeds ranging from 180 °/s on the J1 axis to 360 °/s on the J6 axis, alongside a wide range of motion across all six axes.
