The 2018 Kawasaki RS010L is a high-speed, six-axis industrial robot from the R series designed for a variety of applications, including MIG/ARC welding, material handling, water jet cutting, and machine tending. This general-purpose robot features a 10 kg payload capacity, a 1925 mm maximum reach, and a positional repeatability of ±0.05 mm. The arm has a total mass of 230 kg and supports floor or ceiling mounting. It is equipped with a Kawasaki E01 controller, color teach pendant, connection cables, riser, and transformer. The unit offers an IP67 protection rating for the wrist and IP65 for the base axes. Motion ranges for the axes are: JT1 ±180°, JT2 +155° to -105°, JT3 +150° to -163°, JT4 ±270°, JT5 ±145°, and JT6 ±360°. Maximum motion speeds reach up to 610°/S on the wrist twist (JT6) and a maximum linear speed of 13,100 mm/S. The R series design incorporates high-output motors and a lightweight arm to provide industry-leading acceleration and torque, with built-in pneumatic lines and internal wiring for sensors and solenoid valves. Wrist torque ratings are 22 Nm for JT4 and JT5, and 10 Nm for JT6.
