The 2023 ABB IRB 4600-40/2.55 is a six-axis articulated industrial robot designed for versatility and high productivity in applications such as arc welding, assembly, cutting, dispensing, machine tending, material handling, packaging, and palletizing. It features a 40 kg payload capacity and an extensive 2550 mm reach with a repeatability of 0.05 mm. The robot has a mass of 412 kg and supports flexible mounting options including floor, inverted, and angle. Its compact design incorporates a slim swing base radius, fine elbow, and a very compact wrist to minimize the footprint within manufacturing cells.
