The ABB IRB 1600ID 4/1.5 is a 6-axis articulated robot system designed for MIG welding (GMAW) and industrial arc welding applications. Featuring a hollow arm structure for simplified cable routing, the system offers a 4 kg payload capacity, a 1500 mm reach, a total mass of 250 kg, and a positional repeatability of 0.05 mm. It supports flexible mounting options including floor, inverted, and angled orientations. Axis motion ranges span J1 (+180° to -180°), J2 (+150° to -90°), J3 (+79° to -238°), J4 (+155° to -155°), J5 (+135° to -90°), and J6 (+200° to -200°), with maximum operating speeds of 180°/s on J1 and J2, 380°/s on J5, and 460°/s on J6.
