Technical Description

The 2016 Akira Seiki SR3 XP is a 3-axis vertical machining center from Akira Seiki's JR/SR Performa Junior series, representing the largest model in the SR Performa lineup with the widest worktable in this series. The SR3 XP features a BT-40 spindle taper with a 15 HP peak motor and a maximum spindle speed of 11,000 RPM.
