A+Technical Description
The 2004 Brother TCS2B0 is a 3-axis CNC drilling and tapping center representing the long-table (“-O” oversized) variant of the TC-S2B series, offering an extended X-axis travel for production of longer workpieces. The BT30 direct-drive spindle delivers 6.7 kW of continuous power (approximately 9 HP) at a maximum speed of 10,000 RPM, well-suited for drilling, tapping, reaming, and light milling in aluminum and non-ferrous alloys. The work table measures 800 mm x 320 mm (31.5 x 12.6 inches), with axis travels of 700 mm (27.6 inches) in X, 400 mm (15.7 inches) in Y, and 300 mm (11.8 inches) in Z. The 21-tool automatic tool changer supports efficient multi-operation machining cycles. The Brother CNC-B00 control provides high-speed look-ahead processing and smooth motion for tapping-optimized programs. Overall machine dimensions are approximately 80.7 x 86.9 x 102 inches and the machine weighs approximately 4,409 lbs (2,000 kg). The TCS2B0 is the direct predecessor of the TCS2C0, sharing the same BT30 spindle architecture with an updated table size in the successor series. Upgrade options include additional CNC axes for multi-sided part machining.
