Technical Description

The 2018 Doosan DNM750-II is a second-generation 3-axis large-format vertical machining center built on the proven DNM750 platform with key upgrades including a direct-coupled 12,000 RPM spindle in place of the first-generation belt-drive arrangement, an integrated spindle oil cooler as standard, and the updated Fanuc 0i-MF CNC control. The machine retains the expansive work envelope of the DNM750 series, providing an X-axis travel of 1,630 mm (64.2 in), Y-axis travel of 762 mm (30.0 in), and Z-axis travel of 650 mm (25.6 in), served by a 1,630 x 760 mm worktable with a 1,500 kg maximum load capacity. The upgraded spindle delivers 15 kW of continuous power at up to 12,000 RPM, extending the machine's capability into higher-speed finishing operations on aluminum and non-ferrous materials in addition to its proven heavy roughing performance on ferrous workpieces. The Fanuc 0i-MF CNC control provides an intuitive touchscreen operator interface with DN Solutions Easy Operation Package support, full G-code compatibility, and comprehensive machining cycle libraries. A 40+1 arm-type automatic tool changer with BT40 (CAT40) Big-Plus spindle taper, linear roller guideways on all axes, and integrated chip and coolant management are standard. The machine occupies a floor footprint of approximately 3,850 x 3,480 mm (151.6 x 137.0 in), stands approximately 3,170 mm (124.8 in) tall, and weighs approximately 13,500 kg (29,762 lb).
