THE ELECTRO ARC MODEL 2-SE IS A 10 KVA DISINTEGRATION MACHINE DESIGNED TO REMOVE BROKEN SCREWS, FASTENERS, BOLTS, AND TAPS WITHOUT HEAT DISTORTION OR THREAD DAMAGE. THE UNIT OPERATES ON 220V, 50/60 HZ ELECTRICAL SERVICE AND FEATURES AN ARC-ER HEAD THAT CREATES 50/60 POSITIVE ARCS PER SECOND USING A MOLYBDENUM ELECTRODE. THE HEAD PROVIDES 9 INCHES OF RACK AND PINION TRAVEL, INCLUDES A BUILT-IN LED AMP METER FOR PROCESS CONTROL, AND CAN ROTATE 360 DEGREES AROUND THE CROSSARM AXIS. IT FEATURES A MANUALLY ADJUSTED SPRING FEED WITH AN ADJUSTABLE DEPTH STOP AND AUTOMATIC SHUTOFF/RETRACT. THE MACHINE IS CONSTRUCTED WITH A 2.75-INCH DIAMETER, 36-INCH HIGH HARD CHROME-PLATED COLUMN AND A 2.25-INCH DIAMETER, 15-INCH LONG RADIAL CROSSARM. THE WORK AREA PROVIDES 30 INCHES OF SPACE BETWEEN THE SPINDLE AND THE TABLE, WITH A MAXIMUM WORK HEIGHT OF 17 INCHES TO THE TABLE AND 50 INCHES TO THE FLOOR. THE GROUND CAST IRON WORK SURFACE MEASURES 20 INCHES WIDE BY 18 INCHES DEEP AND INCLUDES FIVE 0.5-INCH T-SLOTS. INTEGRATED SYSTEMS INCLUDE A 2 GPM, 90 PSI COOLANT PUMP POWERED BY A 1/3 HP SINGLE-PHASE 120V MOTOR, A BUILT-IN COOLANT TANK WITH A WIRE MESH CARTRIDGE FILTER, AND A 7.5-FOOT POWER COOLANT CABLE. THE REINFORCED FRAME STANDS 34 INCHES HIGH AND IS EQUIPPED WITH FOUR HEAVY-DUTY BALL BEARING CASTERS, A RECESSED CONTROL PANEL, AND A STORAGE DRAWER FOR ELECTRODES AND COLLETS.
