THE 2011 HOLZ-HER DYNESTIC 7516 IS A CNC ROUTER DESIGNED FOR NESTED BASE MANUFACTURING, FEATURING A 5' X 10' MATRIX TABLE. THE MACHINE PROVIDES A WORKING FIELD WITH AN X-AXIS OF 122.2" (3,105 MM), A Y-AXIS OF 61.45" (1,561 MM), AND A Z-AXIS STROKE OF 16.5" (418 MM). MOVEMENT PERFORMANCE INCLUDES POSITIONING SPEEDS OF 230 FPM (70 MPM) FOR THE X AND Y AXES AND 65 FPM (20 MPM) FOR THE Z AXIS. THE FLAT WORKTABLE IS EQUIPPED WITH FOUR PNEUMATICALLY CONTROLLED REFERENCE STOP PINS. THE MACHINING SYSTEM IS POWERED BY A 15 HP (11 KW) ELECTRO-SPINDLE WITH AN HSK F63 ADAPTOR, OPERATING BETWEEN 1,000 AND 24,000 RPM, AND IS COMPLEMENTED BY AN 8-POSITION DYNAMIC CAROUSEL-TYPE AUTOMATIC TOOL CHANGER. A SEPARATE BORING UNIT FEATURES A 2 HP (1.7 KW) MOTOR WITH SPEEDS FROM 1,000 TO 4,400 RPM, HOUSING TEN INDEPENDENT VERTICAL SPINDLES ARRANGED WITH SIX IN THE X-AXIS AND FOUR IN THE Y-AXIS. MACHINE OPERATIONS ARE MANAGED VIA A PC FRONT-END UTILIZING CAMPUS VERSION 6.3.0.3 AND BECKHOFF CNC VERSION 2.3.7 CONTROL SOFTWARE. THE SYSTEM INCLUDES A 17" COLOR FLAT PANEL MONITOR, SUPPORTING SIMULTANEOUS THREE-AXIS CONTROL WITH GRAPHICAL AND BARCODE INTERFACES.
