The 2018 Matsuura CUBLEX-35V is a 5-axis multitasking machining center produced by Matsuura Machinery Corporation of Japan, combining simultaneous 5-axis milling with turning and grinding capability in a single automated platform. Built on the MAM72-35V architecture, the CUBLEX-35V features a direct-drive C-axis and tilting B-axis (-125° to +65°) enabling full simultaneous 5-axis contouring with a Ø13.78-inch (350 mm) rotary pallet accommodating workpieces up to Ø13.78 by 12.4 inches tall and 132 lbs. Linear axis travels are 21.65 inches in X, 17.32 inches in Y, and 22.83 inches in Z. The standard 20,000 RPM HSK-A63 spindle with approximately 25 HP provides the speed and torque for precision milling in hardened steels, titanium, and aluminum; optional 12,000 and 15,000 RPM spindle configurations are available for higher-torque applications.
