A+Technical Description
The 2007 ROKU ROKU MEGA S 400 is a 3-axis ultra-high-speed micro-machining center from Japanese builder Roku-Roku, designed for precision graphite electrode milling and micro-component machining at extreme spindle speeds. The 23.6" x 13.0" worktable supports workpieces up to 220 lbs and provides a stable precision surface for small graphite blocks, copper electrodes, and micro-mold inserts. Axis travels of 16.1" in X, 13.0" in Y, and 7.9" in Z define the compact precision cutting envelope. The HSK-E25 taper spindle delivers approximately 4.7 HP at up to 40,000 RPM, enabling extremely fine chip-load cutting of graphite and non-ferrous materials with high surface quality and minimal electrode chipping. Oil mist lubrication is standard to protect the high-speed spindle bearing system. A 20-tool ATC supports electrode production runs requiring multiple tool changes. The MEGA S 400 is suited to die and mold shops requiring consistent, high-accuracy electrode geometry in complex multi-cavity injection mold tooling and micro-EDM electrode production environments.
