A+Technical Description
The 2001 YCM XV1250A is a 3-axis vertical machining center manufactured by Yeong Chin Machinery Industries of Taiwan, extending the XV series platform with a longer 50-inch X-axis stroke for workpieces and fixture setups that exceed the capacity of the standard 40-inch XV1020A. The XV1250A delivers X/Y/Z travels of 50.0 x 20.5 x 21.3 inches over a 53 x 20.5 inch working table with a 2,200 lb maximum load, providing generous capacity for automotive components, aerospace parts, long molds, and multi-part palletized setups in a single operation. The CAT-40 spindle operates at 10,000 RPM with 15 HP of continuous power via a Fanuc MXP-200i or MXP-100FA CNC control offering rigid tapping, helical interpolation, DNC file transfer, and AI Nano precision control for smooth high-speed contouring. The inline direct-drive spindle design using THK linear guiderail construction supports consistent performance across the extended axis strokes. A 24-station automatic tool changer enables multi-operation production programs suited to large or complex workpieces. At approximately 14,770 lbs machine weight and overall dimensions of 122 x 111 x 125 inches, the XV1250A provides the structural mass needed to maintain geometric accuracy across its 50-inch X stroke. The machine includes a lift-up type chip conveyor, RS-232 and Ethernet connectivity, and a hand-held pendant controller as standard. The XV1250A fills the niche between the XV1020A and larger double-column or long-bed VMC platforms.
