The 2017 ABB IRB 120 is a compact six-axis articulated robot designed for applications including assembly, cleanroom, material handling, order picking, packaging, palletizing, part transfer, and pick and place. It features a 3kg payload capacity, a horizontal reach of 580mm, and a repeatability of ± 0.01mm. The robot has a mass of 25kg and supports mounting at any angle. It is equipped with an IRC5 controller, cables, and a teach pendant. Axis motion speeds are 250°/s for axes 1, 2, and 3; 320°/s for axes 4 and 5; and 420°/s for axis 6. The motion range for the axes is ±165° for axis 1, +110° to -110° for axis 2, +70° to -110° for axis 3, ±160° for axis 4, ±120° for axis 5, and ±400° for axis 6.
