Technical Description

The AWEA VP3012 is a 3-axis vertical machining center from AWEA Mechantronic Co., Ltd.'s VP series featuring a CAT-40 spindle taper with a 30 HP motor and a maximum spindle speed of 15,000 RPM with oil-chilling for thermal stability. X-axis travel is approximately 1,200 mm (47.2 inches), Y-axis travel approximately 600 mm (23.6 inches), and Z-axis travel approximately 800 mm (31.5 inches). A 32 to 36-tool arm-type ATC and Fanuc 31i-MB CNC control with high-speed block processing are standard. Linear guideway construction enables high rapid traverse rates consistent with high-speed spindle operation. Standard equipment includes flood coolant, through-spindle coolant option, chip conveyor, automatic lubrication, and full enclosure. The VP3012 is suited for high-speed aluminum machining, die-steel finishing, and aerospace component production.
