The 2020 Brother Speedio R650X1 is a 3-axis high-speed tapping center designed for precision drilling, tapping, and milling operations on aluminum, non-ferrous alloys, and steel workpieces in demanding production environments. Featuring Brother's BT30 taper spindle system, the R650X1 provides a standard maximum spindle speed of 10,000 RPM with a continuous (S1) power rating of 7.0 kW (approximately 9.4 HP). Optional spindle configurations are available to extend speed to 16,000 RPM, or a high-torque 10,000 RPM package is offered for applications requiring higher cutting forces.
