Technical Description

The 2020 Brother Speedio S700X2 is a 3-axis high-speed tapping center featuring an integrated 2-pallet automatic workpiece changer, enabling continuous unmanned production by allowing workpiece loading on one pallet while machining proceeds on the other. The machine is built on Brother's BT30 taper spindle platform and is configured with a 27,000 RPM spindle as standard, representing a significant speed increase over the base S700X1 generation; lower-speed high-torque options are also available. The continuous (S1) power rating is approximately 9.5 HP (7.1 kW). Each pallet table measures 800 mm x 400 mm (31.5 x 15.7 inches) and the machine provides axis travels of 700 mm (27.6 inches) in X, 400 mm (15.7 inches) in Y, and 300 mm (11.8 inches) in Z.
