A+Technical Description
The 2007 Brother TCS2C is a 3-axis CNC drilling and tapping center engineered for rapid, precise machining of small-to-medium aluminum and non-ferrous components. The BT30 direct-drive spindle delivers 6.7 kW of continuous power (approximately 9 HP) at up to 10,000 RPM, providing excellent performance for tapping, drilling, reaming, and light contouring operations. The work table measures 600 mm x 400 mm (23.6 x 15.7 inches), with axis travels of 500 mm (19.7 inches) in X, 400 mm (15.7 inches) in Y, and 300 mm (11.8 inches) in Z. A 21-tool automatic tool changer enables efficient unattended production. Control is the Brother CNC-B00 system, optimized for high-speed small-part production with fast look-ahead and smooth motion control. Overall machine dimensions are approximately 61.4 x 86.9 x 102 inches and the machine weighs approximately 5,291 lbs (2,400 kg). The TCS2C represents an updated generation of the TC-S2 family, featuring an enlarged table compared to the TCS2B while retaining the same compact, cell-friendly footprint. Upgrade options include a 16,000 RPM spindle package and additional CNC axes for multi-sided machining.
