The 2015 Doosan DNM500HS is a 3-axis high-speed vertical machining center built on the same robust platform as the DNM500, differentiated by its direct-drive high-speed spindle rated at 15,000 RPM. The "HS" designation indicates the high-speed spindle variant, making this configuration particularly well-suited for aluminum, light alloy, and precision component machining where elevated spindle speeds improve surface finish quality and reduce cycle times. The machine shares the same generous work envelope as the standard DNM500, providing an X-axis travel of 1,020 mm (40.2 in), Y-axis travel of 540 mm (21.3 in), and Z-axis travel of 510 mm (20.1 in), served by a 1,200 x 540 mm worktable.
