2023 DOOSAN DNM5700S VERTICAL MACHINING CENTERS
Specifications & Market Value

Technical Description
The 2023 Doosan DNM5700S is a 3-axis high-speed vertical machining center sharing the same robust cast iron platform as the DNM5700 but configured as standard with a direct-drive 15,000 RPM spindle for high-speed machining applications. The "S" designation identifies this as the high-speed variant of the DNM5700 series. The machine provides an X-axis travel of 1,050 mm (41.3 in), Y-axis travel of 570 mm (22.4 in), and Z-axis travel of 510 mm (20.1 in), served by a 1,300 x 570 mm worktable with an 800 kg maximum load capacity. The direct-drive spindle delivers 18.5 kW (continuous) at speeds up to 15,000 RPM, providing the surface speed and material removal rates required for efficient machining of aluminum, aerospace alloys, precision mold and die work, and light-cutting applications on ferrous materials. The high-speed spindle configuration enables improved surface finish and reduced cycle times in speed-limited operations compared to the standard 8,000 RPM DNM5700 variant. The DNM5700S is governed by the Fanuc 0i-M CNC with DN Solutions Easy Operation Package, offering a 15-inch touchscreen interface, conversational programming, and comprehensive G-code support. A 30+1 arm-type automatic tool changer, BT40 (CAT40) spindle taper, and linear roller guideways on all axes are standard. The machine occupies a floor footprint of approximately 3,145 x 2,221 mm (123.8 x 87.4 in), stands approximately 2,985 mm (117.5 in) tall, and weighs approximately 6,500 kg (14,330 lb). The DNM5700S is ideal for production cells demanding the combination of a large work envelope and high-speed spindle capability.
